It’s a Beautiful Day In. . . Montgomery Cove
Location, location, location. Sometimes, that phrase is overused in the real estate industry, but when describing Montgomery Cove, that phrase really sums up why residents are drawn to the neighborhood.
Montgomery Cove is a waterfront community that backs up to Turkey Creek. It’s located off Northshore Drive and Choto Road and is easily accessed from Kingston Pike and I-40 or from I-140.
“It’s a great neighborhood,” says Montgomery Cove resident, Jana Veter. Jana has lived in the neighborhood since 2000. She said one aspect that she truly loves about Montgomery Cove is that the houses are not all cookie-cutter brick homes. She explained that when you enter the neighbor’s kitchen, you don’t know where their cookie jar is since all the homes don’t have the same floor plan. “All the houses are custom built and all the floor plans are different.”
According to Jana, Montgomery Cove is also a very active community. Neighborhood events such as progressive dinners, Christmas ornament exchange parties and Mother’s Day wine and cheese gatherings are regularly scheduled.
“It’s definitely a community,” Jana says. She says she loves her neighbors and feel that it brings a cross-section of people together that she might not normally get to know.
Montgomery Cove appeals to residents of all ages. Families with young or older children can appreciate the amenities such as the clubhouse, dock with fishing pier, swimming pool, playground, basketball court, volleyball court and tennis courts. Also, the subdivision has sidewalks on both sides of the street as well as street lamps.
Pride of ownership is also evident. Lawns and homes are all maintained and well-kept by the residents.
