Meet Linda Corrin

Linda Corrin is the amazing Marketing Coordinator

Linda Corrin is the Marketing Coordinator for the Judi Starliper and the J-Star Team. She helps seller’s homes look their best in all the advertising that’s done. She prepares the advertising materials and media for the websites, flyers, CD’s and for publications and magazines.

To get to know Linda better, we asked her a handful of questions.

Describe your family: “My 10-year-old son, Andrew, was adopted from Russia at 16-months old and is the biggest blessing in my life.” She adds her family is rounded out with her father, who at 76-years-old is still working, and her two younger brothers.

Sum up your experience: “My education was in Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design. After a number of office jobs, I have now worked for Judi for more than five years and I love what I do.” She explains the position fits her perfectly because it combines her office experience, her interest in marketing and advertising, her love of homes and interiors and her creative streak.

Favorite Quote: “I have lots of favorites, but I read this and really loved it, ‘People will forget what you say, they’ll forget what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel’ by Maya Angelou.”

Hobbies: “For about 20 years, I have been creating paper mache’ and clay Santas, Snowmen and other figures.” She added that she’s done lots of craft shows and sold them locally and regionally. She’s also working on a website and catalog where she hopes to sell them as well as add other giftware and decor items. “Look for Cottage Gate Studio, coming soon!”

Community involvement and volunteer work: Second Harvest Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club and Knox Rescue Mission.

One word that describes you: “Well, I would say most people would describe me as ‘quiet’ or ‘shy’ and sometimes I am on the outside; but when I asked a good friend, he said ‘driven’ and I like that and that’s the real me on the inside.”

With whom you’d like to have a long lunch: “This is the hardest question, there are so many amazing people to draw wisdom from, Billy Graham for his inspiration, Oprah Winfrey because she’s met so many interesting people and must have some wild stories to tell or Gerard Butler because he just so darn hot!”

Cat or dog person: “I like both but last had a dog, Humphrey, who kept chewing through the fence until he found himself a new home.”

Who has had the biggest influence on your life and why: “My mom, for her solid wisdom, fun-loving spirit, excitement for life, for staying with me every day for six months after I was injured in a near-fatal car accident and for her own courage and strength as she battled pancreatic cancer which took her way too soon. She was and still is a guiding force in my life and pushes me forward to live each day as if it could be my last.”

Stay tuned to learn more about the amazing J-Star Team members.
